Drew, sounds like your garage is gonna be needing serious attention at some point, maybe you can come up with a plan that satisfies your wants and needs and provides a solution for your landlady - asset appreciation and reduced maintenance/liability.

Mike. Refresh my memory. What’s the end game for the Milk House? You are making progress. 🤙
AirBnB ...rental.. or wife and I move in..retire completely once and for all...rent farm out...use Milk House as home base while traveling.

More sucking sounds. Just a little more to do...break time.

that's a great idea David.
I think she has 8 properties and just got tagged for a 30k sand mound so
now is not the time to talk about any cost sharing.
However.....could be an offset against future lease costs.

I've already put an electric garage opener on the door.
Sure would be nice to have 50 amps out there.
oh what I could do with 50 amps. That would have to be part of any further improvements.
at some point I want the ability to have some form of EV charging there, and that's a good plus for a landlord
when offering "features" also.

I'll just have to stick around a long time and get good ROI........................

finally headed out to mow, amazon showed up, seriously heavy box with four Koni shocks and a some other things with
a lot of weight, thankfully with no evidence of the usual lapidary tumbler effect you get when they don't pack things well and one
heavy thing bangs into everything else. All good today. Gallon of rv roof cleaner and a new roof scrub brush also came in, part of the weight.
one job I'm delegating for sure. And a new/replacement rv/car wash brush, really lightweight one that I have used and used and it still works but pretty tired.
under twenty bucks got a new one which came with a spare. And it was significantly fluffier than the last one, heavier duty.

I have a longer heavier duty one but it kills my arms to use it. This gets to top of rv side, good for me. Good cheap wash brush

I reached out to RS, didn't hear from him, hope he is ok.

Taking another break, and snagglepuss decided to nap on my lap. Most of trench is backfilled with stone, just left a hole where I need to take a conduit to the shed. Moved most of dirt away. Need to remove topsoil next to shed before putting gravel there. I currently have a direct buried 30A 208v UF cable feeding the shed, only buried about 6-8”. When I trench near the house I’ll have to cross it. When I feed the shed from the barn, I won’t need it. Was thinking of converting it to RV circuit but would rather reclaim the breaker space and feed RV from the barn once it’s installed.
I haven’t decided what amperage to feed my barn. I bought a 100A sub panel years ago, but might feed it lower.

Good Afternoon Guys,
Well I guess I didn’t heed my advice on being safe today !
I was working out on the edge of the property and while I was pulling a branch I tripped going backwards and did quite a good job on the back of my head ! I know it must seem like I am not a safe person, especially after taking out the power to the house a couple of weeks ago, but I am normally not so accident prone ! So three hours in Rutland hospital, and five staples later, I’m good to go !

BEF, nice work on the trench !
PopG, beautiful work on the speakers !
Drew, sounds like you need a total redo on the floor, and prepped with the right material and compacted !

I guess I’m done for today ! 😉

Scott, this isn't going to make you feel one little bit better but you aren't the only
one with an unhappy head.

dermatologist called back this morning, doing what it is supposed to do.
needless to say I wore a ball cap to the super market this morning
looks like leprosy
pretty tender, no more of that stuff for me.

mowed the lawn, then yakked with brother who stopped over.
He spent a bit of time bending my arm to get signed up with Uber.
makes sense for my trips, not towing a car.

lovely day out today, was nice to be outside
