Good morning
It’s 58 and not going to change much today. Overcast with rain throughout the day, 1-1/2” so far.

Yesterday, I did get the final approval on my TSA project, picked up a few sheets of Baltic Birch and got started on the speakers before heading out to the airport. It was actually sunny and warmer in Concord, NH than it was here. It was raining by the time we got back.
Did have a nice meal at Mission BBQ, I got the special, smoked ribeye. It was very tasty.

When I left the restaurant I noticed a police car just sitting in a parking lot next store. Then it dawned on my that Philadelphia has had episodes of random looting the last few nights, I’m guessing he was there as a deterrent.

Actually remembered to take the trash and recycling to the street when I got home. Didn’t hurt that my wife pushed the toters off the garage where I couldn’t miss them….
Today should be wood work and hopefully music tonight. It will feel odd not to have any pressing tasks sitting in front of the computer.
Looks like Long Horns restaurant meal.

With blacksmithing tools/skills it is easy to make simple tools like this one.

Mostly, mowed at home. Need to change camera batteries at lot, they only lasted 7 weeks this time. And I use lithium batteries, not cheap.

Dennis, i wanted to avoid that scenario with my cameras, have a small solar panel keeps them charged.

The solar panel kind of makes it easy for others to spot. And the cell cam is on a tree in the shade. The non cell game cams last several months on batteries. But I'm having deer picture withdraw.. 😂 😂 Though this time of year i'm looking for hunters also..

Good Afternoon Guys,
We are under flood warnings here, this is just amazing as far as amounts of rain !!

M7040, beautiful job on that woodstove tool/ poker ! Great idea on the handle, and the decorative twists in the handle !

Where is Chris Farley when you need him to start screaming at the weather, STOP RAINING !! :ROFLMAO:

Paul, that smoked ribeye looks absolutely delicious ! Im planning on smoking a few racks of ribs for my neighbors party on sunday ! Havent used it in awhile, and hoping for a sunny day for a change !

Drew, get that salt off when you can, that stuff is brutal on just about anything !

Hope all have a wonderful afternoon !

been too busy spending money online to clean the rv but finally headed out, with a lighter wallet for sure.
Ordered a new trifold brown fake leather sofa bed to replace the original which is cheap vinyl and cracking.
Second I ordered four new Koni FSD shocks. They are twice as expensive as Bilstein, which has always been my go to shock, but
reviews say these shocks are remarkable at getting rid of concrete road expansion joints, and those sure beat me up.
not cheap at 200 apiece, plus four or five hours of install. You tube videos says access is not good and takes time
I have a truck place in Souderton that likes working on rvs, bless them, and very honest. They've done my tire work and alignment and have been
both nice and reasonable.

did complete a very minor repair to rv wiring, oem electrical tape unraveling, not impressive at all.
I redid it all with a great deal of super heavy repair tape, not electrical tape and all was well again.
Underneath looked pretty good, very little rust. I took some CRC spray lube and hosed all the metal down underneath.
I also worked on that failing tail light again, got it put back in a little more securely, and lo and behold, it still worked when I was done.
Best to now leave it alone...

these were "before" pics, sometimes only way to see what's under there is take a pic
I see one spot that could use a little magic black tape.

I ordered 2 new tires for my camper. Will get those changed then order 2 more. I should buy a tire mounting device.
Other than that, nothing accomplished. Did scare some deer from the side yard going out to the barn.

Drew no wonder your mileage is bad put a bigger exhaust on that V10. :)
yes, that is clearly one weenie little exhaust pipe for the 4kw gen. But that long thin tube does a good job quieting the noise.
exhaust for main engine is right behind right rear tires.

I ordered the Koni shocks from ultra rv products.com at 4:15pm. they confirmed at 5:05pm order had been processed and already shipped by Fedex. Wow.
saved about 50 bucks vs Amazon, all in the shipping. Fedex was 7 bucks more than UPS ground. ??
pretty hard to wreck a shock absorber...you think/hope the Fedex guy will be more professional and not chuck the package in the flower bed.

I would adjust them to the heavy setting by turning the shaft while it is bottomed out

Good evening All. Had to come into town for Jasper‘s vet appointment. He was very good of course, but he always shakes in his boots when he goes to the vet. Strange, because his predecessor, who is his great uncle, used to love to come to the vet.

Get to relax here in town for a bit this weekend, bit very busy week coming up. Carpenter comes on Monday, teach Tuesday, give a test Wednesday, then Electrician comes Thursday, then Wife and Daughter come up for Thanksgiving Friday. We always get an organic turkey, which cost me an arm and a leg! Our running gag is “it had a good life, up until the last day“

Love turkey leftovers, and this time we don’t have to give any away to the in-laws.

We’ll probably have to take the boat out this weekend, and maybe the Sea-Doos. Always a big job.

The leaves will be at their peak next weekend, and I will post a picture from the deck.

Just have to do a little bit more vinyl flooring, and then the back bedroom in the basement is done! And ready to paint.

Then we need to buy bunkbeds for it. Man oh man have bunkbeds ever improved since we last bought them!

Have a great weekend, everyone!
