Don the heat will start to break for you come back for a short stay then broken by 3rd week of September. If you wish to watch it form look to Pacific Ocean and weather makers coming in California. Sodamo may hold some key here. Canada looks to remain warm.

Another metrologist predicts Lee to not hit US coast lines

Good morning! Low of 55°, heading to 90°. Sunny, no possibility of rain until next Tuesday. We are in the extreme drought category, but the "exceptional" category is knocking on the door....
At least the humidity is super low --- 10-15%

Got another load of materials yesterday, then stacked and sorted. Too hot to do much else.

Need to make a trip into town this morning, then to a local appointment just before noon. Might get to doing more dismantling and prep work. Depends on the heat level.

Buppies, what does our area look like for the weather breaking? How about winter outlook?

Dennis, haven't heard too much about the new property....are plans still moving forward?

Everyone have a great day!

I have a separate thread on it. But haven't done much but mow once a month. It needs mowed again, but after this week of heat.
I did some work on cabin plans. Think I'm on my 3rd iteration. I need to get a driveway in, and then a well dug. That will dictate further work.

I will have to check LS I do not focus on the west too much just give me some time. Generally I look at Mississippi East and Texas due to so many people on here. This summer has been really dry for a lot of us

If memory serves me correctly concrete gets harder for 50 years or is it 100 then begins to deteriorate. Broke down looked it up 100 years building roads sidewalks 50. They will deteriorate sooner if exposed to harsh elements ie salt for ice melting

67°F and 0 rain

Got my outside the fence mowing complete, then the day took a turn.

Sophie’s BX was experiencing a loss of power. Indications are this is a well known issue, bad fuel filter, especially the one in rear underneath. Boy, what a B****h, especially with the mid mount mower hardware. Kubota could easily fix this at no cost just by changing length of the fuel line by an inch. Having more nimble fingers might help. By the time I got the old one out, my day was done. Today I will pick up some 5/16 fuel line and relocate. Found a couple good You tube solutions

Into town this morning. Sophie has ophthalmologist appointment and we’ll do errands.

About half way getting salt into pool, progress

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
