Good evening all. 75ºF for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, moderate gusts, sky mostly clear, and high temp was 108ºF. Putter to start, bike ride, then into town for meds and lunch. Did get a nap in.
Ron glad grocery shopping was good. Sorry about wet grass. Hope tractor show was good, looking forward to the pics. Froggy looks happy

Got rid of the corn stalks I pulled from garden.
Peter piper Picked a peck of un pickled peppers and also canned 7 qts of tomatoes, and we picked about around 3/4 bushel of green beans.

Drinking hot coffee. 47° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 78° with partly cloudy skies. Very nice weather yesterday. Trip to Tractor show went well. Recent rain had turned paths between rows of tractors and other displays were up to 12" deep mud. Good thing I had my Mule to make it thru the mud. Lots of great tractors to view. When we left in late afternoon thing were starting to dry up. The RV camping area was a mess with some RV's stuck in the mud. At least they will have tractors available to pull them out. I will get some seat time today pulling fence post for a neighbor.

cool morning, 61 only going up to 80 today, very nice Saturday

I'm off with rv this morning to BIL's commercial shop, where his son will put rv up on lift
and install suspension parts. His son is very slow and methodical and this will take all morning I'm sure.
Two holes have to be drilled through the frame, hard stuff, glad I have that new set of super hard drills.
His father and I will be double checking his lift points; visions of rv falling off lift...
I know nothing about heavy truck lifts, but father and son do.

had a surprisingly bad experience at hospital getting MRI last night. For first time in my life, after having many of these, granted most
in larger machines, I had a real panic attack in the machine. Made mistake of opening my eyes when inside, top 1/2 inch from my nose,
I'm not a small guy and really fill up that space. Felt trapped, suffocating, heart pounding and hyperventilating.
Pushed the button and he got me out quickly. We settled, and I tried again. No luck. Embarrassed, had to say I couldn't do it.
Need to find an open MRI. Thankfully the tech was good and did not make me feel like a jackass. Which I did.

I keep in mind Mickey Mantle only hit one out of three. I sure swung and missed on this one.
will find a plan B and keep on trucking

BEF, yes the inflation is killing us, but you might as well cash in on the higher interest rates if your in that position to do so ! At least it lessens the impact of the inflation slightly !

Inflation is far exceeding any benefit to higher interest on money accounts. One of these days I’ll go thru receipts on things I usually buy to compare prices from 3 or 4 years ago. Dollar wise, I’m spending as much on gasoline as I did working, but using less. I want to quantify that. Same with groceries, I’m spending more now for 3 people than I did with 4.
