The comcast buried cable ripped when digging. Is there a way to fix it myself?
Assuming it's a heavy coaxial cable it could be an RG11, you can get underground splice kits for it. You may need two splice kits and a few feet of cable as it could be stretched were dug up.

To bad inflation is taking away any gains in interest.
Good Afternoon Guys,
LS, congrats to you and the Mrs. on your anniversary !

BEF, yes the inflation is killing us, but you might as well cash in on the higher interest rates if your in that position to do so ! At least it lessens the impact of the inflation slightly !

Im sitting here, and I think I can actually see the grass growing ! This is crazy for this time of year !

All have a great day !

Easily reassembled with simple tools found around the home and a tube of silicone…

it should take standard size connectors, you just need a barrel connector between, the pot the whole connection in RTV

underground burial cable
I used to sell it at Radio Shack in big rolls to guys who were doing their own work.
can't tell from that picture but if there is one or more copper wires in the middle you have coax.
If there's a tiny little wispy wire, you just ripped up fiber optics.

have no idea how you repair fiber optics, I'd call.

look at the cable, might be markings on the cable itself, Usually RG something or other.

They do sell kits, need to get as much contact for the ground layers as possible or the signal strength with degrade.
See how much slack you have as you might need more cable.

Need a clearer picture of the end, if it's fiber, that lit is a lot more complex.
Polishing fiber is not easy if youve never seen it done.

If copper, just need good wire cutters.
