Good Morning!!!! 68F @ 7:15AM. Sunny. High near 95F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Looks like another nice day, but I won't be here to enjoy it.

Got news around noon yesterday that the sellers agreed to my last offer, which started a blizzard of electronic paperwork. Property will close Friday, after the realtor and I do one last walk through. Mostly want to make sure nothing disappeared since the last time I saw the place.

Also spent time setting up internet connectivity with Xfinity (Comcast), and got talked into bundling in my cell phone. Supposed to be a gigabit connection, "unlimited" data on both phone and home, all for $62/month for 24 months. We'll see. That price worries me, as it seems too good to be true, especially when Starlink is charging twice that just for fairly slow internet.

Also got insurance nailed down with Farmers, just the house for now, but once I bundle the new van and car, rates will drop substantially. Wanna get through the windshield claim on the van first. Both guys I spoke to knew what they were doing, and though it was fairly complicated, got it done without too much fuss. Still need to set up electricity/gas, water, and sewer, but I can take care of that tomorrow.

Spent the rest of the day packing the van, first a motorcycle (of course), then the spare queen bed, a recliner, end table, bottom half of a roll around tool chest, small power tools, motorcycle ramp, clothes, kitchen supplies, and on and on. Got it filled to about chin level.

Do today's a seat time day in the van, in no particular hurry to get to Lompoc since my buddy won't be home 'till around 5. Don't want to get to Sacramento before the rush is over anyway.

So here I go, off on another adventure.

Right! Got one out in a cabinet in the garage, but it's been so long since I used it, I'd forgotten all about it.

It is quite handy for non- cramped situations where you need a lot of torque, like mixing plaster etc. more leverage is easier on the wrists!

Good morning! Low was 64°, heading to 87°. Our monsoon setup is supposed to start forming this weekend. I sure hope so... almost 2 months late....

CONGRATS! To RNG on the new house. I think you are going to be impressed by the service from Comcast. That $62 cost is real, it will go up to about $100 after the 2 years. People in Albq. rave about how good and how fast their service is.

Hope David is ok. Very unusual for him not to post. Wonder if internet is down.....

Kilroy, nice pen set up. The logs are a good idea.... Especially with Harry's activity level...

Yesterday was a successful day, accomplished 144 dripper installs, tested, and working as planned. Today, another 42 will get installed in a different zone. That will finish up this project.

Taking the wifey into town this morning. She needs to get some supplies to restock her yarn stash. Not sure if we'll stop for lunch.

This morning, wife and I are going out to breakfast for our 49th anniversary. Not too much else planned, but the day is hers.

Miss those days/nights--Too hot this time of the year. My Model T will be hitting 100 in two more years. Actually, one year and a few months. Wow! How time goes by so fast.

Yes, time does have a way of slipping by ! My 1930 A will be 94 in Februrary !It was very hot and humid up here also, probably nothing like Texas but even with the windows down and windshield kicked out, its not comfortable on those hot days. At least until the sun is going down ! Best time of year is the fall IMO !
I always admired the doctors coupe Model T ! But according to the wife I probably wont be getting one !

I have Comcast/Xfinity and Xfinity Mobile. I like my service. 1k gigabyte. Phone will depend on how good Verizon is in the area.
