Good morning!!!!

Good Afternoon Guys,
So fairly minimum damage to the rear bumper, but it did get bent a little on one side with a small dent. The guy wants to settle without going through the insurance company. I did get all the insurance info anyway along with their registration. I took a ride to the body shop and got an estimate of $2174.89  , so thats a new bumper and painted to match the truck along with the plastic pieces that are on top of the steel bumper. I think this young fellow will have to think pretty hard about paying that out of pocket. The truck is 6 1/2 yrs old, but I take very good care of it, and would like the truck repaired to what it looked like before his girl friend drove into me ! Anyways, he is supposed to call me tomorrow, and I promised him I would not call the insurance company before that ! So I guess we will see what happens.

TxDon, that first trailer is very nice, it would be perfect for hauling my 1930 Ford Model A around, but thats a little farther than I want to drive !

TxDon, haben sie einen guten tag !

Hope all have a great afternoon !

Ted, interesting about basements. My guess is those of us growing up with basements being normal most likely included a wet basement in the mix. Basements aren’t common here either, in fact I can’t think of anyone here having more than enclosed area under a raised house, but not a real basement. Guess a basement would have been additional cost factor here, but ohhhh the possibilities.

Houston we have liftoff...!
too windy to do much today, but got the basics down.
never got the return to home function to work, kept telling me I was within 20 meters.
I was about a hundred feet away. No problem, laid it down close to lawn, it realized it was landing, and turned
itself off. Smarter than I am...

guess I'll be watching some YT how to's

hot tub drained, so maybe floor will dry up.

That was about the same cost to repair the small bump in my car's rear bumper - replace bumper and paint. Her insurance paid for it and a rental car for a week. I took lots of pics at the scene.

The 16' has hauled a car from Houston and a Farmall A from Houston. I'm still looking for the ramps for that trailer.
