successful morning
back is not happy but got it done
cover is built for two person rack and is too big.
plus I think it and almost any cover would continue to block
view of license plate.
that seems like an invite to a bored LEO hoping I have ten kilos aboard, get a commendation,
maybe a medal.
at least it's something to keep it clean and it gets it out of the garage while stored here.
I've seen lots of rvs go by with big bikes and cargo under cover, blocking the license plate.
kinda wondered how that turned out
upon further inspection, saddlebags nicer than I thought, closer to cordura than plastic.
seems like a lot of loose stuff flapping too close to rear wheel and chain, but I think I'll leave them off.
I'd rather have an open box in the rear, think empty weight box on tractor.
Friend said he thought my rear tire looked a little fat.
hmmm, well I'm not light, and I pumped it to 30psi out of max 35
If I'm going to carry more weight in rear, better go 35. Lack of decent suspension means tires being a little
soft helpful. I'm sure the less rolling resistance the better.
bottom line is I'll take the saddlebags with me, and if I have a need for them, will put them on.
I've gone off to the Piggly Wiggly in a golf cart, but not a bicycle before. when opened all the way, those bags will hold
a half gallon of milk easily.
