Coffee is cooling in cup. 65° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 81° with sunny skies. Grocery shopping went well. Got grass mowed yesterday. Then stayed in out of heat. Not sure what will get done today.

highs up into 80's today, clouds, then some rain tonight.
I'm likely wasting my time but going to Ford dealer in Flemington NJ to talk to them about
a new F150 with Supercruise. It's pretty much dead at this point because every time I build one online,
comes out over 80k. No way am I spending that on a truck. They have a used diesel F250 there that is attractive but one requirement,
a must for me, is adaptive cruise. I'd like super cruise/blue cruise but if I can't afford that, because it only comes on most expensive models, at least have to have adaptive.
Many times in rv i'd get behind a semi going up a big hill, and yes he'd slow down a little, but I don't mind, and if I passed the semi, he'd just blow past me
on the next hill going down. So I'm happy to follow a big rig that is maintaining speed close to what I want. At max distance, five bars on the cruise.
I stared at the listing, and pics of that used diesel, and don't think it had the tech package, where adaptive cruise comes in. Typically one more button on
steering wheel. So likely a swing and a miss.
Just not going to rush this.

this afternoon my project is to finish working on the e bike, install the fenders, and then the bike carrier.
I'm also going to call the rv repair place and get another status report. Annoying they asked me to bring it in last Saturday and by Wednesday still had
not looked at it. If they haven't looked at it by today, I might go pick it up and take it somewhere else. (and this dealer wants to sell me a new rv...)

I need to deliver more tomatoes today, overflowing out of a big bowl in kitchen. I also need to chop some up and freeze them for a winter red sauce.

67 going to 77...didn't get past 75 yesterday. I've heard of blackberry winter, but that's early in the spring/summer. Not sure what to call this, other than nice, but a little wet.

check, that place is really looking nice.

Rswyan, will you be able to harvest those peas before frost?

Thomas, sounds like you're back in high school...studying for a test and then having a date.

Took my wife out to breakfast yesterday, then did a Costco run. Got home just in time to get wet bringing in the groceries as the rain started. Felt good.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly…).

67.5F going to upper 70s, another wet day forecasted.

got all our running around done yesterday, Mrs saw a sign at a local antique shop said to stop in, neighboring hair salon (that you had to go through to enter antique store) had a lull, so she got her hair cut. Nothing spectacular t store anyway, I guess the good stuff was already gone…

Harry is going for a play day at the local doggie playhouse, so Bailey gets a peaceful day. Too muddy to work up at the woodlot but if the weather holds off long enough we will try to get her up there for a walk.

Chicago tribute band concert at the art center tonight, should be good.

It always seems that there is a week in midsummer where the weather turns cooler and more tolerable for a couple days,t hen you go right back to the heat of August. I always thought of it as the “Back To School Warning”.
