Local church was having a fundraiser flea market. Scored some good items (food mill, patio chairs that match ones we brought from Jersey, DynaGlow kero heater looks like maybe used once, Toro two-stroke leaf blower (small) that needs some carb work (runs on ether) and some decorations). Went back to antique shop and grabbed that two man saw. It looks like it may have Ben used once or twice, max:

Sitting on the deck now, 89.8F… so once again we stay out of the 90s.

87°, was just 90° a few minutes ago, rain is starting.
Good breakfast, my plate was so clean it looked like I licked it. 😂
Stopped at Walmart and got oil filter for the Mazda.. 2148 miles, first change. I didn’t want to go any longer.
However new filter good inch or so longer than original. Interferes with putting socket on the plug. Rough to get to though, have to remove plastic cover underneath and plug and filter beside each other. Had to turn front tire right and get it from the side.
Rain stopped already.
Before starting oil change I put window AC in garage window, and also ran a fan which helped a lot.

Don, I have some tools you could borrow if you want to work on it yourself.
I have no interest in restoring the 1971 Kawasaki. It does have a title and key but it has a Yahama speedometer.?? I had thought it belonged to my deceased brother and was hoping his son would want it, but he does not, and according to my older brother it was Dads, he bought it after I had moved out so I don't know the history. As we get further along I'll contact you for a look about at it and other things maybe you can help us put a sell fast value on some items.

out checking to see if the pawpaw trees were growing in the plantings in the meadow area and found some. I will be a long time before they will bear fruit

Good Afternoon TxDon,
This is the Connecticut coast, it got very close to 90 today, not quite, but close ! Yesterday, Don we had low 90’s here with pretty high humidity, 70% range, so for us northern folks that’s pretty darn hot ! The grandkids having a ball digging in the sand !

Certainly we pray for our southern brothers, for a break on the heat, but also some much needed rain ! 🙏

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 14C! and the wind has truly picked up (we're under a warning for the next couple of days). It's presently still 14C, mostly overcast and, as I mentioned, very windy. I haven't checked the gauge from yesterday's drizzle yet, I'll do that when I return from Church.

Indeed, I'm off to Church in a few minutes and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.

I Have not been out to the garden for 12 - 100˚ days and thought it would be toast, but with the irrigation system system it is thriving. About a dozen cantelope, half dozen watermelons, eggplant, peppers, 2 cucumbers (not blind yet) and a surprise 2 ripe Roma tomatoes. as you can tell the other gardens are burning up.

I will be glad to look over things. I frequent auctions around here a lot. You are in the midst of what I'll be doing someday in the not so distant future, although my mom does not have many items of worth. I figure after my siblings take some keepsakes, that the rest is just old furniture and clothes. There are a few local auction companies that do estate sales, but I'm not sure how well they do on big ticket items, I know the small things like china, plates, knick knacks etc, don't usually bring a lot.
