What is some of your Pet Peeve's

We got a cat from a lady with a young family, kids about 3 and 5. One was allergic...
The littlest one called the cat, Puppycat. We never changed the name.
So the cat became Puppy.
"Here Puppy, come on Puppy" And here comes this obese Siamese, double time for meals and snacks.
Had a feral dog adopt us that I named Mutley and a pet pig Link. Our rooster was Colonel.

Having been guilty of that, I find it interesting that your philosophy is apparently rather popular. My time in the Navy probably contributed to mine differing from yours.

I spend most of my time alone, and talk to myself alot. I try to regulate that when in public but sometimes forget and find myself looking around saying "OOPS, Sorry."

On a similar note, I try to respect other people regardless of how they look or think. Years ago when I was travelling one of my favorite places was a privately owned motel located behind the owner's house. She wasn't that great to look at but she and her husband were good people and worked hard to maintain a nice place for people to stay.
One night I was sitting on the porch having a couple with a few construction workers who were also staying there, when she came over to deliver a message to somebody. As she walked away but was still within earshot, one of the guys made a crude comment about her looks.
20+ years later I still cringe, as she didn't deserve it. Some would say I should lose my "man card" for that. Yet I gave it up that night when I didn't say speak up and say she didn't deserve it.
