Grapple Double Duty Grapple, Tractor and Track Loader...Help me choose.

I have a 4520 Branson that has no problem lifting 2000# and just bought a skid steer (ASV RT-50) with a similar weight capacity. I'd like to find a grapple for $3k or less that will work well with either of them. I'll mainly be moving brush and small logs and generally picking up stuff. Any recommendations?

If they are both skid steer hook up it doesn't matter just get something heavy duty enough for the skid steer so you don't tear the implement up.

Yes. I understand the hookups are the same. I'm looking for specific recommendations on "something heavy enough for the skid steer" that doesn't weigh a ton.

They have Rake and Root grapples in various weights. I have an economy root grapple doing pretty much what you are wanting to do with no issues so far. You may want to go beefier for the SS, or over to the Rake grapple.

I have an MTL because it was cheap and I do not need a heavy-duty unit for what I do. I bought the 60" but wish I had bought a smaller unit. It is easier to pick logs off a pile withe a narrower unit.

Thanks @shooterdon . I’m probably going to go with a 60 or 66. That’s wide enough for my needs without adding a bunch of weight.

2000 gets taken up very quickly by a heavy grapple, typically a good one starts out at ~525#. I have an EA wicked grapple and it has been amazing for almost eight years now, I would not buy EA again because of Ted's decisions about needles and employees.

Beyond that, if I bought another grapple I wouldn't by a traditional style. I'd get a frostbite or similar, much lighter and I can't think of a task I've done the frostbite wouldn't do. Maybe even better.
