I found out that the owner of the house next to mine that has been partially completed since 2005 died back in March. You got to love the neighborhood gossip. They know everything. Now we will see how long it sits, will a flipper get it, will it be torn down? Will the new neighbors be nice or creepy? Life is an adventure.

66°F and 2.01 inches rain.

Likely make a foray into town today. Sophie’s prescription ready for pickup and get some stuff at Safeway.

Did get work area in garage cleaned up, ready for next phase of project. Today is last day of restricted activity.

Still have 1/4 tank of gas to waste before I ship the Subaru next week.

Nice looking RV, Drew 🤙. Lots of enjoyment ahead.

HomePod mini delivered yesterday. Need to start learning how to add HomeKit. Starting with some remote outlets set up on a schedule.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

it seems they really, really want a potential buyer to actually visit the site. Maybe for some high pressure sales pitch?
I would think it prudent to at least visit the place before buying anything...

I took off the mower deck on an older hydro JD lawn tractor and it's now the grandkids toy. With the worn turf tires, they'd get stuck all the time in anything more than slightly uphill wet grass. I got the old tires off by hand, but I took them to the tire shop in town to get the new mudders mounted. They're 6 ply (way stronger than I needed) and with the really stiff sidewalls, I let the guys mount them on their Coats machine. Took 'em about 4 minutes. $20, well spent.

No more pushing a stuck tractor with these on it (I hope...).

A question for you Texas guys:
How is the Centerville area? Looking at some land about 15 minutes outside of the town, off I-45. Supposed to be heavily wooded and multiple creeks. I still need to get more specific info about the subdivision, but they "can't" send me a subdivision plan..... I think it's more like "won't"..... it seems they really, really want a potential buyer to actually visit the site. Maybe for some high pressure sales pitch?
.

I don’t like the sales tactic. They don’t tell you exactly where it is. Im used to exact directions, with maps, plats listed. I’d be concerned about private paved roads, etc. is there bond in case developer doesn’t put them in? Local place did that, sold the lots and never finished the roads.

I see a lot of well pads in the area, really close together which seems unusual. Course land might not be near them.
