Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

50F, going to almost 70.

next couple days supposed to be sunny, then a rainy weekend. Yay.

Really nothing of any great note to post this morning. We are all looking at branches not roots (praise God), coffee is good, word starts in about an hour. It started raining here yesterday about five minutes before we got home, so no outside activities. I caught up on some reading.

43 outside this AM, heading to lower 60's. I hear the drip of the gutter, did not expect rain, so maybe it is just a damp morning with the warm weather. Have not been outside yet, so it is a mystery. LOL.

My hike turned into a let's go see why the tree line looks different by the creek. So off I went, the thing about our place is you can get the miles in just by walking the perimeter of the property. Unfortunate, but Mr. Beaver is back. They cannot dam it up, so they must be looking for food in my general area. I counted at least five 30 foot trees down and lots of saplings cleared out. Sigh. Don't need that.

Back to the MilkHouse when I got back to the house. Managed to get the rest of the framing done, more vinyl and one side of the entrance way has a new door. Looks good, works and the SO is happy. Need to go find some more J cannel and soffit today. Then back to the inside.

Another warm February day...46 going to 70...but winds predicted to gust to 50 are keeping from the mountains today. Let the woodstove go out last night.

Changed the oil and filter, and air and cabin filters in my wife's vehicle yesterday. Glad to get that done on a mild day, since I do it on the gravel driveway. Had a hard time getting the oil drain plug off the filter cap, so took the whole assembly off, and used the RNG freezer method. Otherwise, an easy vehicle to work on.

Needed to move a pallet of split firewood, and hoped the ground had dried, but still a bit soft and left a few tractor footprints in the turf.

Buppies, that restaurant in Winston sounds good.

Got more sleep than I figured I’d get. Probably 5 hrs. Cold now under the blankets.

I don’t think that’s the one. I think they are at Stoney creek resort a little further down. We have not been there, long story.

Edelweiss German restaurant is good, down at exit. I almost bought tractor once at Stuart’s Draft.

Our snow storm has started. Got 1/2" so far but the radar shows much more to come. Block heater already turned on.
