God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

started having a sniffle yesterday afternoon, today full on head cold, but not as bad as it could be because I started on upping supplements and other stuff, but an intense session in the sauna. Gotta stamp that stuff down quick!

chiropractor appointment after work - dog will be disappointed that she isn’t going up to the woodlot again, but it would have been far too muddy yesterday so soon after the rains. An extra day of drying out will be good.

work is picked by up in earnest - nobody has to fight over jobs in the queues anymore!

Coffee is brewing. 21° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 52° with morning sun and afternoon clouds. Did not find where mice are getting in house yesterday. But did cleanup around suspected areas. Fired up my older office computer. Wells its not that old. It was OK to upgrade to Windows 11. Another good afternoon walk with Sassy. Will finish getting old saw neighbor gave me today. Got a new blade and crank handle for it. Then clean up the mess I made testing it.

I'm up way too early compared to when I went to bed, midnight. I can go back to bed and most likely will as I won't be going out to plow until noon.

Good morning to all. 62 degrees and light rain here in Central Texas.
ronjhall: You Cardinal photo gave me nightmares.  Have one here that is attacking the mirrors on my pickup every day, all day. Folded them in but he just goes to the other vehicles and those mirrors do not fold in. So, letting him beat his brain out on the pickup. Hopefully, once the breeding is over, he will quit. This happened a couple years back also.

Awaiting latest balloon shoot down news. All NORAD really needs is a few Oklahoma goose hunters to clear the skies. I know a few.

We are blessed to live in the USA. Even with shortages, inflation, energy issues, and other problems.

I have 2 polished SS chimneys on my roof. Every year I get Cardinal’s and Robins falling in love with themselves.

Don, nice looking saw. I'm still looking for the little "turbo" on it. Must run on sunshine...

have to pick up the house, cleaning lady coming today.

might spend an hour outside in sun today waxing the car; I like to keep the hood and front well waxed since that's what takes the damage it seems.
Car is going to be left outside now as soon as rv gets here, so need to give it a little TLC.

Put a plastic bag over the mirror while parked, secure with rubber bands or clothespins. I have seen birds break car mirrors!

35 outside this AM, heading to 60, again. Would be great to be outside today, if more things settle down. No work on anything yesterday of importance. That's the Milk House project. Surprised, but the SO ordered lights! So we can move forward on the inside final electrical work.

Talked with the Insurance company, and they promptly sent more monies our way. We have some depreciation left on the table. So on the final, final, final (LOL) sign offs, from the various inspectors, we hope to get that too. Been close to a year to get the damages fixed.
Did not help that our Mortgage company got involved, losing checks, changing our loan servicer (internally) which changed the loan number, which fouled up the Insurance Claim, which....which...which. There is a Dilbert cartoon in there somewhere. Anyway, most is now behind us....thank goodness.

When the sun comes up, I'll start the animal chores and see if I can stay outside today. LOL.
