A view from the other direction.

If I remember will try to get shot from beach back to Hale Koa.

For any interested, the Hale Koa is a military hotel located on Ft DeRussey in Waikiki. One of the best locations. Think it was built n the 70’s, but quite up to date and likely best open area/beach in Waikiki. I used to picnic here on Sundays back in the 70’s. Been almost 10 years since Sophie and I last stayed here.

Good luck with the surgery David. Hope you don't get too hungry!

Fritz, congrats on a successful install!

Sitting out on the balcony passing time and some place is grilling steak driving me nuts.
Already have dinner reservations at a nice restaurant for 7:15, hoping I’ve recovered sufficiently.

Good (Thursday) arvo. Overnight Low of 12C and it's presently 21.2C, overcast & calm. There was 0.6mm in the gauge at 0900.

Busy morning as I fasted and pounded back the H2O in anticipation of providing a blood sample. Sister always has a hard time getting blood out of me and today was no different; both arms attempted until she went for the large syringe and 'shared' what she got amongst the 3 vials required.

Before I went into the clinic I received a text notice of a parcel waiting for me at the PO = it was the leather pouch/sheath for the Wave+ multitool, which fit! I've put it on my 'work' belt in the horizontal configuration to see how that works out.

Not much else on for the day so I'll catch up on my dhobi.

That's about it, take care all.

Speaking of boats, this is from our trip to Alaska in 1988.
Friend of a friend of a friend took us out on the pacific in this boat. They have house on the shore with a high tide dock. When we got back at low tide they took us to another dock to get off. I edited out a bunch.

Frits, how many BTU is that mini split?
18000 BTU Called the Hyper Heat Model. Not sure how that differs from regular 18000 BTU model but it heats very well
