RNG, wishing you the best in making your possible relocation decision. Pretty long distance move. I know you'll miss the views above the lake but not the fires and smoke.

Ron, great action shot. They move so fast when they tangle.

Had a great hike yesterday...did the section of the AT called The Rollercoaster. Up and down 8 small mountains...set a new personal best on hiking distance and elevation gain. It was a really fun section of trail.

I met an interesting thru-hiker...from Boiling Springs, PA, a town the AT passes by. He left his house on January 3rd heading to Georgia...timed it so he would be in Harper's Ferry on his 16th wedding anniversary, where his wife met for a couple of days. He retired 2 years ago, and has been planning his hike...he'll travel back and do the northern section to Maine this spring.

I'm pretty wiped out from the hike...not good for too much today other than some tacos. Good thing it is a rain day.

35 outside this AM. Raining, and looks to be that way until mid afternoon. Highs expected in mid 50's.

Unseasonably warm.

Finished moving stuff around, including the back busting cast iron sinks. Yeah,,they will be fun trying to set in place when the time comes...

This morning I am feeling it. LOL.

Managed to get some starter strips up on the Milk House for the east side wall vinyl. If the weather holds this week it is back to that. Should be interesting as I will cover both the framed out Milk House and the concrete block walk-way to the barn.

Nothing else on the agenda, and for today, maybe a day to take it easy.

Buckeye, I have stopped worrying about sleep. I go to bed when I am tired. Wake up when I wake up. Usually get about 6 hours of sleep. Very seldom take a nap.
Problem. I fall asleep around 8pm. Wake up around 2am. If I wanted to change anything. I would like to fall asleep at 10pm and wake up at 4am. Not going to happen.
Enjoy the sleep you get. When you get it.

Good Morning
It’s 32 with a high of 40 for today under a cloudy sky.

Yesterday went pretty well, got chores done at daughters, flew with student, they did well, we outlined what needs improvement, and weak knowledge areas, but overall a good review.
Raced from to the airport to the vet to meet wife with Zoe for some more shots and wellness check. She also got her toenails trimmed.

When I got home, got back to work on the net work and set up another “dumb” TV for streaming.

Never did get to making chips on the Bridgeport, hopefully that will happen today.

I have to go go Walmart to pick up 50” smart TV for basement that I ordered last night. Of course that means I’ll have to hang the mount on the wall and install an outlet behind it as well. Then have to figure out what to do with perfectly good 50” rear projection TV that it is replacing. Ken or Drew? It would pain me do disassemble it and scrap it.
At any rate, that’s what’s in front of the shop project, hopefully it will go smoothly.

FireWise this morning removing cedars. Hope we have another good turnout like last week when all I had to do is cut and not drag to the pile.

70% chance of rain tomorrow.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

getting behind on GM - yesterday and today mornings just sortakinda getting away from me before running off to work, but nothing bag, just frenetic and disjointed activities. Too many things not enough hours.

i hope everyone’s health issues are resolving in the right direction and nobody has anything new to report in the minis column,

StarLink is freaking awesome! First time we have been able to watch tv with zero buffering since Cable in Florida.
