I often admire member's photo subjects when they post something cool, like a nice car, or tractor, or shop. The mustang is real nice, but the place in the background is sweet!

Do wives have a training class where they learn how to push husbands into tasks? Mine is remarkably good. And her concept of time is remarkably bad. :)
My friend built this place on hill with a nice 360º view. His workshops are great too. He's got a lift and a pit, a lathe, mills, and lots more. 5ac with an old windmill still pumping water from the ground. We are fixing up his 445 FORD right now. Anyone of us could be happy there.

What LD1 said, unfortunate you have to get rid of the straight line syndrome.

Others mentioned sand, and bring a level along.

Don't know how many squares you plan on laying, but I would approach the rectangle ones first, then put a square into the place you want.

Look at the bright side, they are small and you have a defined area. :)

Honestly it would be easier to demo what she did and do it right (y)

You are a more patient man than I am. However, logic.
It will take more work and yield lesser results to continue with no pattern to the end than to back up and do it right. Good Luck.

Me...I'd just count all the block you have, like (60) 12x12, (40) 8×12, (30) 6×6...whatever it is, draw area on graph paper first.

The dog poo bag dispenser is a nice touch. I put a sign on mine just in case visitors don'r get it.

My wife and I have been married 35 years and have done a lot of projects together, her favorite thing is to say "We can do this!" My favorite is...
We the willing
Led by the unknowing
Are doing the impossible
For the ungrateful.

We have done so much with so little for so long
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
"Yes dear, we can do it......"

Coming up on 35 years this year but we have learned that we each have our lane. Working together is not one of them, wife has the talent to do the opposite of what I say, i.e. move back means hurry to stand under what ever I'm about to drop even if it a round bale over her head. Hold this means let go and "help". Don't touch I just welded it. means grab a hold of the red hot metal, throw it on the floor and then run away screaming. Wallpapering together ALMOST caused a divorce.
I have learned it's easier to either have my son help or figure out how to do it alone. Less headache and happier life, my daughter has her mom's talent as well.
Love her dearly but working together is hard NO. Wife does not like me to help in kitchen either, says something about being in the way all time.
