Had I waited a couple years I could have saved money and had the edge protectors match my tractor (orange). As it was I ordered two Edge Tamers (red) and paid a bit more. These appear to be a great value though the material may not be as thick - I've got nothing to compare.

I bought a pair of those and replaced the screw knobs with bolts. The knobs don't give enough leverage to get them tight enough. Once the bolts were replaced, they never loosened the 1 time I used them. Patiently waiting on more snow to arrive to try them again... :)

92blacksunshine - vibration and loss of shoes would be my concern also. Bolts may be a good solution. If they worked well and looked like they would last - weld them on. I foresee no reason to ever need to remove them.

BTW - my $$$ is on Ohio today.

Weld what on?

BTW- Alabama fan here... and I think Georgia is gonna open a big can of whoopin' on them tonight.

I think @oosik means weld the edge tamers on, I wouldn't advise that.

I think Ohio state can beat Georgia if their QB decides to be a gamer and run the ball if he needs to, like the other QBs who want to win more than protect their NFL careers. We will see.

I'm a little suspect of OSU's toughness and tackling.
