Well heck I listened to it just now, my wife heard it and knew what it was. I'm sure that I had heard bit's and parts of it over the years but it sure didn't ring any bells for me.

My in-laws had a Mercury Grand Marquis that we'd borrow if we needed. My wife hated it. I loved it. Like two couches driving down the road. Soft ride. Floated along like a boat. Took the bumps nicely. Not the sportiest of vehicles, but sure was comfortable.

Yes they are comfortable to ride in, that's why it's the fifth Lincoln and the fourth Town Car I've owned. The first was a Mark IV. On top of that, my old boat got 24.3MPG average on the trip down and back, running 70-75MPH where I could.
