Wagtail - nice boots but beyond my budget, most footwear lasts me less than a year (due to my gait, dragging toe or whatever it is ?)

i should get my brother to find me a pair, he's in NSW
Are you talking about "foot drop"?

These are my Tony Lamas that I bought in the 60’s. I haven’t worn them for 10 or 15 years. I have never treated them with anything. They have been standing upright in my closet all that time.

Maybe they built them better back then.

To address the original question....my wife rolls up a magazine and stands them in her boots so they don't fall over.

Round toes are used on bull riding boot, among others.

I kinda like round point, better than snip and a whole lot better than square point! Standard pointed toe versus round is a toss up for me !

My feet are wide. Pointed toe boots are like wearing jester shoes to me. Just a trip hazard. I just don't like the look of the square ones. Reminds me of the old kicking shoe used in football back in the day.

I have 2 pair of Ariats, one pair for working the farm, one pair for town/church. Both my pair are well broke in and stand up just fine until someone knocks them over. Im planning on getting a pair of Tacovas, they are nice looking boots and are supposed to be quality.
