The majority of presidents in my lifetime did not get my vote. The important thing is is that I have been casting my vote for over half a century. Its about time rural America woke up and did the same. 40% voter turn out for midterms and 60% for presidential is apathetic at best. We've seen what happens when we let metropolitain America choose our leaders. Please get out and vote today. He's not my president.
There seems to be an abundance of that today and on here as well...No more coal fired electric plants, either.
When recently asked what the plan was to respond to the potential shortage of diesel fuel, all the VP could say was that a lot of students and drivers rode on diesel school buses that were exposed to toxic fumes.
I am more worried about my exposure to toxic stupidity.
Could be, or it could be a result of the supply chain just catching up. For many years dealers kept full lots of inventory.
Yep, there have been both layoffs and new jobs created over the past few years. Unemployment is still very low and there is still a lot of hiring and job vacancies in most fields. Home construction being one where there is less demand due to interest rates. But dealers like to keep product, and machines and attachments have been on back order for a year or more and are now being delivered. Our local dealer has just recently restocked his product line due to receiving back orders. Besides, the purchase of tractors is skewed towards an older age demographic that isn’t as much affected by layoffs.Except the velocity of retail has been slowing, especially in the EU as Amazon has noted and we are in a technical recession. The facts don't support "catching up" except, yes, everybody except Apple has caught up because production overtook demand.
"More than 322,000 [layoffs] were announced by U.S.-based companies in 2021 and another 133,000 [layoff] in the first half of 2022, according to Challenger, Gray & Christmas."
Looks like the private sector is working on it.I heard your president say there will be no more drilling. Period. Today
Looks like the private sector is working on it.
Or maybe just getting as much drilling done as they can While they can.
Oil Rig count has been increasing for all of 2022 in the US
US Oil Rig Count is at a current level of 613.00, up from 610.00 last week and up from 444.00 one year ago. This is a change of 38.06% from one year ago
Hopefully this will translate eventually into lower fuel prices
By having boots on the ground and talking to trusted sources. The media is completely irresponsible. Journalism is dead replaced by propaganda, manipulation and advertising. How can voters to make intelligent decisions when faced with slanted, biased news reporting?
And how to tell one from another?
