Hey Folks
Currently have a L3560 with only a rear pto, Wonder if adding a Mid pto is possible at all, is it an expensive affair if doable.? Appreciate inputs.

It's doable. I believe you go through sales for the whole goods option.
I don't know the price through sales (likely cheaper), but the parts add up to around $1600 (for the L4060).

Thanks Rjc, Good to know, will do an enquiry to see if its a meaningful conversion.

On mine (the XX40 series) you could easily add the mid PTO to the cab versions, but for the open station versions, you had to split the tractor to do so. I know the cab one is easy as I did it. Pull off the plate with the hydraulic drain plug in it and put the PTO there in its place.

Yes Mine is Cab model, I was already down there & saw the drain Plug over the plate, Wondering the cost factor. In addition to the Pto gear attachment, the actuator assembly at the console(mid only, rear only/mid & rear) also need to be purchased as a package.

Can't say for sure as I do not know the 60-series but on mine the whole Mid PTO came as a kit. That included the gear to replace the plate, the handle you pull up to engage mid (push down for rear PTO) and all of the various brackets, links and hardware and sensors. Be advised that the one electrical connection was well hidden and I only found it when I removed the seat and the seat plate as they had it tied up on top of the tranny where you could not reach it (or see it existed) without pulling the seat like I did. There was nothing in the instructions to hint at this. Drove me nuts tearing into harnesses to no avail. Everything else was obvious/easy enough to do. Some 3-handed jobs but nothing too major.
