I wouldn’t think so, but not up on aluminum wheels and wheel repairing.
My well meaning, helpful so had a mishap with a roadside rock-outcropping.

Probably scrap. You might find a shop that can straighten it, but it will never be right.... meaning balance and a 'true' rotation.

I'd say repairable, since I know a man who specializes in wheel repair near by me, has perfect equipment. He's living just about 7 time zones from you.

Wow if it did that to the wheel how did the tire fare?

The tire is alive & well and back on the truck. I know-I can’t believe it, either. I inspected the inside and out of the tire with a tire “expert”. Says it’s fine.
The new rim was $1,400- which promptly blew HD’s mind.

He must have gotten thrashed a bit when he hit.
Not at all. I have never laid a hand on anyone in my family in anger.
He was immediately remorseful and offered to pay the damages.
I made him pay 1/2.

He’s the best son I could wish for. Daughter is same way.

I was referring to when he hit whatever he hit... that was no pebble. It must have thrown the truck a bit.

$1400 Yikes.

At that price I would try and have it repaired, if you can't find a Good used replacement.

Is that off of IIRC a 5500 Ram?
Didn't realize they went up from 8 lug to 10 above the 1 tons?
