Ford 1700 won't start

Ford 1700 tractor stopped I drained gas put new cleaned glow plugs turns over won't start notice no smoke not coming out of stack at all...can ya help me out.

Old plugs just cleaned.??
Did u test them.??
Loosen the lines from the pump to the injectors, AT THE INJECTORS.. now crank the engine to see if fuel is getting delivered TO THE INJECTORS.. if not, u have to back track to find if fuel is getting TO THE PUMP..

Thanks for your help I'm thinking the pump not working ,I'm gonna take the plate off and see if the pump is the problem or the injectors...I was going to buy new injectors but had a hell of a time finding em and never did so I tried to clean the injectors " half-assed that"

The screws r soft and tighter than Dick’s hat band..
If u try anything else ur gonna strip the heads..

You did mean diesel not gas???

I took pump apart looks in great shape I actually think no diesel is getting to it due to hose not angled the rite way working on that tomorrow got to days before tractor mech picks it up and charges the hell out of me...but I'm desperate to get this goin work stacking up.

I took the side plate off on the left side of your facing it appeared everything was clean and in good shape however somebody before me got to those Phillips head screws your talking bout and one is striped so tomorrow I'm gonna have to tap that one out to get a better look to see how everything is functioning....I did see some wires above the pump they looked greyed and the gas line hose from tank to pump is roller coaster up and down wondering if that has anything to due with not starting...any comment welcomed.

Lol...any tractor you own you better learn how to work on it or don't own one, working on it still beats a $500 a month payment on a new one and when mines running I get a lot of use out of it..this one is a workhorse worth the effort to get it running again...thanks for your comment.

I wouldn't recommend taking apart the pump unless you know what you're doing as there are a number of fine adjustments and seals in there that can go wrong in a hurry. If you are 100% sure that your glow plugs are working, I would go through the priming sequence again first at the pump then at the injectors. Still no start try connecting a pressure gauge or pull an injector and reconnect it pointing off the tractor, get out of the way and crank it to make darn sure the pump is building enough pressure to actuate the poppet at the end of the injector and you are actually getting fuel there's a little copper sealing washer on the injector that you don't want to booger up or lose. Once you're sure you're getting fuel in the cylinder and still no start, do a compression test. If that's good, then you check injection timing.
