Yesterday was another day of coming up short vs what I thought I might get done. Seems to be a recurring pattern.

i am very familiar with that ... i think they call it "Life" :) - progress is good though

Have a great Sunday Everyone - thanks for all the Cdn Thanksgiving greetings too

Good Morning!!!! 71F @ 8:45AM.
Abundant sunshine. High 92F. Winds light and variable.

Another copycat day, a little warmer than I'd like but tollerable. The 10-day is hinting of a cool down into next weekend.

My first tractor was a Kubota L3240, and I have fond, not-so-fond, and terrifying memories of it. Pretty sure I've recounted most of those here in the forums, and I don't find myself missing that tractor, at all.

Sorry about your post, Kyle. I thought it was spot on.

Thanks for sharing the very colorful tree pics, folks. I still plan to go leaf peeping, but not 'till Thursday, leaving a day early to end up in Santa Cruze for the weekend by Friday.

The valve adjustment and oil change on the zebra bike yesterday expanded to include changing the transmission and final drive oil when the oil showed up at about noon. Gosh, that stuff really drains slow when it's cold.

Today I'll swap my newest battery back into the touring bike, as it'll get used all winter and will need the extra starting current. The new red bike came with an Odyssey super battery made in 2016, and just barely passed a set of load tests. It's probably on its last legs, but I think it'll be fine in the zebra bike which will soon go into hibernation for the winter months.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend!

The 20 inch chain saw would not start yesterday and the pole saw did not start either.

I got the Makita chainsaw and pole saw that use 2 18v batteries. And couldn’t be happier. My MS260 doesn’t get much use any more. And I just got it to to replace my O26 that my son’s worker ran on plain gas by mistake. I would have fixed it, but the cylinder was no longer available.

speaking of Thanksgiving I saw one can left of the real cranberry dressing, not the jello stuff. Didn't they run out of that before?
I happily took that last can home. Will use it on something with chicken.

thawing out some of my tomatoes so to make room for more. Just missed a freeze last night, handwriting on the wall, so I picked anything showing any pink.
They all ripen nicely inside.
Bought some barbecued/roasted corn from deli, and that's going into the tomatoes, and whatever else I can find, onions and peppers I'm sure.
Making a red sauce for pasta

not sure what I planted out front but turned out a lot bigger than I thought and/or happy in that spot.
My challenge is I never remember if it's an annual or a perennial.

Drew, sorry for your trouble at meeting. It’s tough going thru, BTDT and don’t want to again. Attended a church once where the vocal minority railroaded decisions and we had to leave for our sanity. Hope this doesn’t follow suit.

Pretty day today. Had lunch at diner up on the mountain after service.

I wonder if the TBN pluckers have to agree on a group decision or they have personal plucking power?
I know I've gone over the line with too much thought/enthusiasm perhaps but I've never been warned since being on this site.
But I know I've screwed up. Maybe I got deleted and never knew it, happily oblivious.

I reached out to the oldest elder at church. Retired doc. He got back to me saying he would get that guy out of position at issue and put me
in there instead, where I belonged. Interesting. I'm waiting to hear back what happened today, see if there is just talking and talking or some walking and walking
thrown in to.

about to zoom with sister in California. She is headed off to Portugal for two weeks. Strong dollar really helps.
so she wanted to chat first
I'll always make time for her

Funny I have the MS 260 and the 026 as well. Makita makes good products. iI only I did not have to add another battery system. What model Makitas did you get?
