Some interesting statistics....

While China is the largest CO2 producer, followed by the U.S in 2nd place, China only produces 1/2 of the CO2 on a per-capita basis compared to the population of the U.S.

China is gonna have to ramp up CO2 pollution to double the level they are doing now to match the US on a per person basis.

We're still number one by a factor of 2 when it comes to CO2 output compared to China on a per-person basis.

In fact, there are 42 other countries that produce more CO2 on a per capita basis than China. There are only 15 more than the US.

And the majority of those countries that produce more CO2 than China are not in eastern Asia. They are in Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

That's out of a list of more than 200 countries, dependencies, and/or countries that are not self-governed.

I saw an EV plugged into a small running generator like that sitting next to our gas station a few months ago. Kinda shook my head.

What does per person have to do with it? China doubles us in CO2 emissions. If you want to base the emissions per person, start with the elites, celebrities and sports mega stars and their private jets. Then we can have a discussion.

Well...the FACT is Moss the idea is to save the planet...correct? Internet research doesn't matter. We (the US could be 100% clean Energy which is a pipe dream fallacy anyway)...now we're in the non-peeing section of Earth's pool. Does that save the planet? Noooooo...Does switching to electric cars/trucks save the planet?
We need a common sense administration working Worldwide solving the CO2 and many other pollutants problems.

Pretty simple. Each one of us consumes more than each two of them. Telling them to stop doing something we've been doing for the better part of a century doesn't fly with the parts of the world that are living a lower standard than us.

Depending what direction that California plated car is going in Texas, it will have to stop numerous times for generator gas with 2 days driving to get to another state.

CO2 is good for the planet, do you want more and denser crops? Or do you prefer to see starving people? CO2 is running at 400-500ppm, plants die at 150ppm and during the Jurrasic CO2 was up to 4500ppm, and that wasn't an issue. CO2 has nothing to do with the temperature and besides, we are still coming out of the last ice age, so naturally the planet is still warming. CO2 is good not evil, enviro-whackos are what's evil.

I understand the truth is somewhere in the middle. My California friend I just talked with last night recently bought a Chevy Bolt. His electric bill doubled. Yes, but, still cheaper than gas or diesel...maybe not with what fuel prices were 2 years ago...but then again they're having restricted power usage (he said their bedroom is 96°F!)...then again the car was $35K & "rides like a buck board" (his words)...and the battery costs how much & lasts how long?

Yep 96F bedrooms here too and emergency measures now in place as not all schools have A/C and office buildings closing.

Part of the plea is no appliance use or EV charging during peak times
