Delavan 6-roller pto pump

Anyone using this pump? I want to transfer water from small creek to 275 gal drum for watering garden (next season)). Pump will be about 3 ft high from the water. Is this possible?

I think the issue will be how to get the pump primed. When I use my pto pump, I have to raise my tank above the pump to get it primed.

I don't have any experience with that pump. I suggest you wait to see if others can suggest a way of priming a regular PTO pump that doesn't cost as much as the self priming model.
