Arly, that is a JD made tractor with a Yanmar engine. For reference I paid around $21k, taxes and all for mine brand new 3 1/2 years ago. Mine has the loader, 60 mower, loaded tires, mulch kit, and pallet forks. 3 years ago I’d have said $16k for that is over prices, these days not bad.

Silly qestion for you owners. If you had to mow rough grass, bushes and weeds, how would you so that with this unit? Here is a video with a three point 4ft mower he's doing rough with.

Not sure what you are really asking?

BTW, JD uses its own proprietary quick attach mount for the FEL.

in todays market that is a good price, but is it the tractor you want?
Well that is a good qestion. I fixed our 15+yo mower again this week but parts for it are becoming a serious issue so I'm looking at replacements.

If this could do our yard with a belly mower AND do some good out on the trails for us, that would be a plus. I know this is not a fine mower for doing manicured lawns but if could also do rought mowing in the feild, move minor amounts of dirt, it would have more value for us.

Factor in the price of a John Deere belly mower for your lawn, a rear rotary cutter for rough mowing, a suitable trailer and a suitable vehicle to tow it based on your local prices. And you need somewhere to store it. You could search tractorhouse.com to see what else is for sale near you to compare prices.

There are lots of owner videos on these units on youtube that go into likes/dislikes that I found helpful when I was tractor shopping.

I have a 4 foot brush hog for mine, it works well. A 2025r might pull a 5 footer also.

OK, just got back with more worthless info. Has 100 hours on it, they bought it new and the dealer filled the tires when they got it. Comes with a 5ft back blade which they never used and the price is negotiable. Was stored indoors.

If you like it, have a way to tow it, need it and have the money, jump on it. Looks like a nice machine.

Tractors don't have titles like cars.

Generally speaking, if a seller bought the tractor new from a dealer, and this can be verified, that's a better assurance that the seller actually owns the tractor than some seller that bought it from JoeX who bought it from BillZ who stole it from the real owner.

Many tractors are sold with financing and may be subject to a lien. Something else to verify.

100 hrs--how was it used and why are they selling?

It has a dealers decal on it which is 10 miles from the owners home. He has COPD and can barly do anything anymore but they bought it to do yard repaiers after a flood we got here X years ago. They are talking about moving south and they don't use the tractor anymore.

I am not saying anything negative about your seller nor am I making any comment about your seller, express or implied.

I’m not going to say it’s a steal at that price, which it sounds like they would take less, but these days it’s a good price. A 100 hours means it’s basically new.

Just a rough estimate on my part but a mid mount mower brand new is going to be $3k or more. A rear finish mower could be had for less and depending on your trails, might cut them.

It has 4r’s for tires, not as good for a yard as turf tires but for doing your trails, might be better and a good compromise.

If you have the need and the money, I’d go get it today.

Do you want it or are you having reservations about it suiting your needs to cut your grass and some trails?
