Went to grocery store last evening; fresh Alaska King Crab legs were $59.79 per pound. I thought it was a misprint, but apparently it wasn't. Now we don't have a lot of crab fishermen in Oklahoma, but Hamburger is only $3.99 per pound and bone in rib eyes are $10.99.

None. I quickly averted my eyes, backed away, and headed for the hamburger and bologna. Oh, I did buy three cans of sardines at $1.00 apiece; makes the dog's coats nice and shiny.

I just checked the link you posted, and it showed $43 and change/lb. Still way out of my budget, but quite a bit lower than you quoted. Not a real big seafood guy myself (maybe fried clams once in a while), but crab has always been very expensive. Most people seem to dump so much butter on it, it's surprising they can even taste the crab. Same goes for lobster.
