JD equivalent of 8050

I have been told many times that the kukje/branson 8050 is the same tractor made for JD. However I have never seen anyone state what JD model it is the equivalent of. Also what cummins engine.

As many may know the 8050 is no longer been selling and support in the US is almost non-existent. It would be helpful finding possible parts from the local JD dealer if one could reference the JD Model. At least they could look at the parts and see if them seem to match.

I have heard the same thing but have not had much luck chasing it down, the 5225, 5325, 5425, 5525 and 5625 were available with a 12 speed
power shuttle and a 540 and 540E pto. But thats the closest I've every found.

I got this a few years ago and I don't even remember were I got it;

About the only thing the same between the 7845 and 8050 is the engine. Everything else is different. The 8050 transmission, rear end, and front end are identical design wise to a John Deere 5x25 series. The 7845 is a completely Korean design."

As far as the engine I do not believe it will cross to any Cummins engine, when I had to get a waterpump for my 8050,
I spent considerable time looking at all the smaller Cummins and couldn't find one that was even close.

Am I to assume that you have a Branson 8050 also.

Yes, I am one of the 75. The tractors been great so far; about 2 years, but I am afraid that finding parts is going to be a big issue in the future.
