To make it quick: I saw burned motor oil spraying out of an overflow rubber tube coming from the area of the fuel injectors.
I turned it off and wanted to check the oil level. As soon as I took off the cap, the oil came out like tilting a gallon jug on the side at once,
a jet 3-4 inch long and a lot of it.
It clearly came from up higher because it stopped when it reached the level of the tank opening.

Obviously there is a big problem somewhere, but what is the most likely cause?
Is there anybody that has a suggestion?
Thank you in advance.

If you don't have a diesel smell my guess is a leaky seal on your hydraulic pump. Due to the quantity of hydraulic fluid in a tractor you may not notice if it's a couple quarts low but you'll sure notice if your oil pan is a couple high.

You'll have to determine if it is diesel or hydraulic fluid getting into the engine oil. The 3 main culprits are usually fuel lift pump, injector pump or hydraulic pump.

Thank you. The hydraulic fluid tank is full so I would exclude that. I need to find out about diesel and injectors. Thanks again.

Thank you, most likely I will need an expert to look into it. I dont' have enough experience for this level of complexity but I will do what I can to try to eliminate some of the possible causes. Your insight was very helpful.

I would be sure to check the fuel lift pump (if equipped) first. It is the easiest and cheapest to fix of the three.

I will check the service manual. I just got a new copy after the guy who came to my house to service my tractor 6 months ago stole the original.
