Don’t buy mahindra

To me it Seems like a pretty legitimate complaint
You may be right!
or
Maybe he is in the 9 out of 10 (according to my service tech) who owns a hobby tractor that never does any maintenance.
or
He overloads the bucket
or
He is an angry person that is difficult
or
All of the above
or
None of the above

We simply don't have any other details.

I do know that he was upset enough to come find this site to slam the brand after owning it for a while.
I know that 2 weeks is a long time until you hear that many wait for months.

I am not knocking the guy. Its a drive by that isn't worth any more of my time. Its like scoring in the Olymics. Kick out the top and bottom score to eliminate the bias.

I believe he posted he had a Mahindra with a thrown shoe . . .

So "thrown shoe" = "Front wheel, axle and all fell out while moving sand"?

That's a lot of damage.

Well supposedly it’s been in the shop for 2 WEEKS and the Mahindra rep still has not authorized or denied the claim ! That seems like very lousy service that would definitely cause me to never even consider buying a Mahindra.

Not so much a newbie for this sight though (and I agree it's a rant). . . RC fix your "Mehindra" . . . (y)
Yeah, 18 years as a member exceeds the limitations for newbie. :)

Says the guy that misspells Mahindra. :)

I don't know if I'd start a thread about it. But I'd want an answer in regards to warranty service at this point. My question would be toward the dealership more than the manufacturer at this point. The Service Manager would have to hide in the bathroom to not answer my questions. :)

I see nothing in the pictures that indicates abuse of any kind. The tractor appears very straight. The wheels/tires appear to be in excellent condition. All indicators to me of the kind of life the tractor has had.

Rear Ballast or the lack of it has nothing to do with this. No FEL tractor I've been around requires rear ballast to carry a bucket full of sand.

I think it's a simple mechanical failure that should be covered by warranty. And probably will be. I'm guessing the delay is the dealership.

I was just letting you know that MF is not the brand that you posted that he is having a problem with . . . he has a Mahindra.

But in this case the problem seems to be with the Mahindra rep making a decision to fix it under warranty or not, seems like everything is on hold until the rep makes what should be a pretty simple decision
Yes they might have trouble getting the proper parts to fix it but that’s no reason for the rep to be wasting 2 weeks to make a relatively simple decision about weather it should be covered under warranty or not.

I agree. And I throw the dealer under the bus for that delay.
