Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I've seen UPS tracking start at a railyard and go through every rail hub and obscure rail landmark - passes etc - along the way. So my item must be in a UPS trailer on a flatcar. Still arrived in NorCal within the 7 day maximum that UPS specifies from the east coast. UPS must contract for a specified service level.

I have seen trains go by with 40+ railcars in a row with UPS trailers on board, so I assume that they have enough volume and pull to get the speed that they want.

I took advantage of a pretty sweet sale and have two new HFT purchases. I guess I'll be able to update this thread in a while as to whether either of these are worth a crud . I've read good things about both of them, reviews are promising on YouTube and forums, etc, and specs are good. I'm going to use the pump to drive sprinklers from a tank, and the generator is for backup power at home in the house, pool house, or camper as well as using my welder around home.

Grabbed a 50' soaker hose while I was at it and one of their garden hose quick connect kits. I think their quick connects are actually really great along with the soaker hose, and both are quite cheap.

When I had my goat dairy farm, I used that stool to sit on when I milked 60 goats. The stool would usually last me a couple of years. For the hard use I gave it, I liked it. Eventually, I either had to replace the wheels or get a new stool. The first time I replaced the wheels, but getting a new stool was cheaper, so that's what I did. But I milked twice a day for years. Having the stool last 2 years, I thought was pretty good.

Due to very high diesel prices, the freight trains have flat bed cars that actually mount the UPS, FEDEx or DHL semi trailers onto them. When the trailer shows up at the rail yard, the sei just hooks up in your location and goes.

I'm seeing more of this now as the freight trains out of the Chicago area have so much more semi-trailers on them lately. Old Dominion and other semi-trailers are on these flat cars too. 2 semi-trailers per flat car.

Maybe it's just my bad luck or my usage at a little more than homeowner levels, I've went through 2 cheaper pressure washers within a couple years due to pump failures, finally broke down and bought one with a Honda gx gas motor and a comet pump, had for over 10 yrs still running strong. Are the hf ones worth it? And last for more than a couple seasons with occasional usage?

I've used one lightly for a couple of years. No problems with it.

I bought a $125 electric pressure washer but then ruined it over several years of occasional use, from storing it dry. Eventually it froze up. Don't do this.

Then I bought a small Ryobi pressure washer. My application realistically is just washing off mud. And I started a rigorous storage procedure - fill the pump with automotive antifreeze and run it for an instant, then pour antifreeze into the ports. No problems with this one, over several years.

I read the MSDS spec sheet for special 'pressure washer storage fluid' or whatever its called, its just antifreeze.

It's good to see the click torque wrench back down to the 20 years ago price of $10! Mine always tests accurate compared with two beam torque wrenches. But I wouldn't use it without this verification. It is HF, after all.
