I worked with a couple of brothers who’d had a truck like that. One night they were on their way home when they left the road. The younger brother in the passenger seat had permanent damage to his foot from when it went through the floor boards.
His brother said “I don’t know what happened, all of a sudden the truck just veered off into the ditch.

On another occasion he mentioned that our boss had given him some tube-type tires for his truck. He didn’t have tubes but put them on anyways and they held air so...

I didn’t say anything, but suspect I know why he left the road.
