enjoying a yummy prime rib and swiss sandwich with a big blob of horseradish. All good.

And a successful morning. So nice to be dealt with transparently and happy to buy a CPO XC60 from local dealer.
Loaded car, big engine, 3200 dollar stereo which will be wasted on my bad ears...
Engine is both turbo and supercharged, fun to hear little supercharge whine, but very quiet.
Dark blue with tan leather interior, color combo I've had often.

now to go out and get all the stuff out of car, will do the deal tomorrow afternoon. So glad I didn't put new tires on it
or have to deal with current dealer.

Good afternoon. 55° now. Which may be the high for the day. Supposed to be warmer this week, then another cool weekend with rain.

Been kinda quiet lately, just not much to say.

The cat adoption is going slowly. She has moved in last Friday, so far our cats are terrified of her, she is not real sure about all the changes in her life in the last 9 days or so. But there are positive signs she is settling in, but we have a ways to go.

Canopy is installed on the tractor, so far seems to work. Little small, but not a lot of choices with the size of the tractor. Had it outside yesterday doing some odds and ends, it did keep the sun off my head which was the goal.

My wife was supposed to retire also at the end of the month, but she is now working a month longer. It can take some companies FOREVER to actually hire someone. Her replacement starts 3-28. So she is going to spend April doing training. Pretty much her hand picked candidate so it should go ok.

I am picky about ordering steak when going out to eat. Growing up in an area that had a couple of well known steak places that people drove from Columbus, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland for a good steak has left an impression on what a steak should taste like. And most places during my travels have left me underwhelmed. St. Elmo's in Indianapolis and a place in Argentina that I can't remember the name were the major exceptions. Both were exceptional.

When I traveled international a lot for business, I made it a point to eat what the locals ate. I have discovered I have a strong affinity for Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Still try to work it into the menu when I am cooking at home. Or going out. Some of the other countries I really enjoyed, others were ok, and then some....not so much. The odd thing I did at times was on my last night in a country I would usually order a burger at the hotel (staying very close to the airport). Usually it was a disappointment, but one time, I was flying out of Bristol, UK and ordered a burger. Reality is, it may be the best burger I ever have had. It was exceptional.

Everyone stay safe out there.

65°F and no rain. Our drought continues.

Very good, in person Happy Hour. So nice to get caught up with those not seen in awhile.
Some complimentary comments regarding the caretaker unit with 1 person advising my rental rate was too low, citing some examples she was familiar with.

Ate too much good food, oh well. Probably why my feeling too motivated yet.

I did get the TV mounted in Caretaker, ended up doing it twice, moving it 5 1/2 inches. Of course that also meant repairing the 1st installation area. Coax and Ethernet cable not live yet.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Now that you have the family Truckster, are you going to Wally World?

Very nice.

Drew, I vac seal and freeze leftover roast all the time. Don’t expect it to be the same when you thaw and eat, but sliced thin is excellent for sandwiches or combine with some shredded potato for a hash. We often do the hash with eggs at breakfast. I also cheat and get the dehydrated shredded potatoes at Costco.

Blue sky and 68°, supposed to reach 69 later. A little breeze but quite comfortable.
I’ve been out servicing the MMM for the Massey Ferguson. Cleaned, lubed and blades sharpened, now I have to straighten and weld a caster mount that I somehow bent last year, never knew when it happened. Need to sharpen the blades on the ZTR and grease everything, oil and filter only have about 15 hours so that will get done about July.

Prayers for all the ailments, family issues and other problems.

Nice looking car, Drew. Must have missed a post as I thought you were looking at new Genesis.
Friend of mine, president of the ski club, had the Volvo dealership in Heidelberg Germany.
