What a huge and diverse country here. Moss is putting away his ice fishing gear while I’m hosing pollen off the porch and truck windshield.

Yep. My wife just helped me haul the ice gear out of the Suburban and into the back garage for storage. It was in the high 40s today. The tulips and hyacinths are pushing up through the mulch. A lot of syrup making going on right now.

Wife and I went to a funeral today. Noticed lots of logs sitting near the roads that had been hauled out over the winter when the ground was frozen. Really surprised at the number of logs and the number of different logging sites along the way. Someone must have made the right deal at the right time to a bunch of different land owners. All hardwoods. No pines.

Nope - That would be Munroe Falls and Stow (slightly north of west)

Kent is southeast of Hudson.

Same county (Summit) I think.

Nope - Hudson is in Summit, Kent is in Portage County … so next county over.
