30 and clear sky, going to 36. No snow here. About an inch of rain instead.
Kyle, new series?...This Old Kohler? Hope the repair goes well.
BEF, I had to get up early and move the lazy-boy, too...shoulder.
Gave woodstove a good cleaning yesterday, and getting ready to fire it back up before my wife gets up...happy wife.
Firewood splitting today, and maybe sharpen a couple of chains.

Good morning! 18˚F cloudless sky, West wind shifting to a South will take the afternoon temps to 43˚F like Bird's.
I do miss the warm spot in front of the Wood Burning Stove but do not miss the middle of the night log adding or trying to get the kindling wood going in the morning if I was too tired to throw that extra big log on. I have found an acceptable alternative that I'm using this morning behind me, a plug heater - don't laugh too much - it is a good little source of heat to make that your work/sitting area cozy without getting too hot, and it's very quiet.

Good Morning.
It’s 20 with a high of 25 forecast with clear skies.
It’s been a miserable couple of days weather wise. We got a total of 1.6 inches of rain, making a muddy mess out of things before the temps dropped below freezing late yesterday afternoon. At least all of the precipitation was rain, but it also assured that everything was wet when the temperature dropped below freezing making it pretty slippery out there.
Our power stayed on, but for 5 minutes or so yesterday morning, and with reasonable winds and no ice coated trees, we shouldn’t have any issues today.
I’m inspired by Ken’s pictures of his travels, while I rarely leave the country, I do get to see it from a different perspective. Here is a foggy day in Indiana, PA seen from a YAK 52.
