If 35hp is enough for you, the 1835 should be perfectly fine

John Deeres using Chinese Motors? First I've heard of that. Was it converted?
Most small JDs use Yanmar engines. Those are top notch.

My mistake on the origin of the motor. You're right, they are a Yanmar.

The MF 1835 is a great tractor! I strongly considered one during my last tractor purchase. I’m sure it would be a great investment for your property.

I have a 6 year old 1734e, have no complaints about it. The chassis is Iseki and the engine Shibura. I don't think that Iseki's engines at the time were tier 4 compliant. No complaints about the engine other than it always wants to regen when it is time to put it away for the day.
I think you will be happy with the 1835e, if it's like the 1734e it will be fairly basic and not have very many frills.

What ever brand has the best price, after sales support, and service in your area.... REGARDLESS of brand or color...

Coincidentaly, in my area that combination was the best at JD...

They are sold in the US. I think it’s the “4” series, but I’m not sure.
My 7495 AGCO/Massey was made in France.
