Trip home postponed again now tomorrow

More snow coming, might want to stay longer.

Temp now 35F, wind still blowing and headed down to a low of 16F for the overnight.

Fired up van and ran out to the license bureau and got driver's license and van registration renewed.

Woman wanted to run by the grocery and pick up a couple of items while we were out so I ran over to pet store while she was doing that and picked up a variety pack of wet cat food and a "mega" size of treats. The Squeak was overjoyed ...

Grocery trip less successful: they were out of 2% milk and the bread we like. Woman contemplated getting whole milk but did not (no idea why) She did get some of the house brand wheat bread ... will see whether that's any good.

Electric usage dropped significantly this past month which is good.

Relative that had COVID is doing better and is planning to head back into work tomorrow which is also some more good news ...

Got some more plant work done earlier today.

Probably more episodes of The Expanse tonight.

Egore the torturer earned his money today as I reach new levels of pain. He decided I could not bend my knee to the correct pain level after 8 standard exercises so this college football lineman "assisted" me in increasing my pain by manually crushing my heel to my butt resulting in extreme knee pain which produced yells, profuse sweating, shortness of breath to the verge of passing out. He said "Did good, come back two days." I did not complain that my session was cut 5 minutes short but walked out wide eyed wondering how did I survived that - and yes he would have gotten more than just my rank and serial number. All-time record knee flexion today (with pain) 112˚. We both know the Dr. has to have 120˚ flexion in just 2-3 weeks. This is not easy.

Good thought but I doubt you will want to fight to the death because I want a vegan cake. And I doubt you will support laws that make vegans a special class of people not to discriminate against and make it illegal not to have vegan food at every restaurant or the restaurant can be sued and put out of business. No I don't expect you to conform to my vegan lifestyle.

Ah... but I could care less about your vegan lifestyle; it's simply none of my business. See how well that works?

I'm days behind on posts...I'm only up to this past Monday. I'll have to catch up later.

Just wanted to give a quick update on my mom. Thanks for the prayers!

My mom had elevated levels of troponin when she got to the hospital, short of breath. She was diagnosed with humanmetapneumo virus, which caused pneumonia, which caused the breathing difficulty. This might have caused the anxieties which might have caused a small heart attack in the lower left part of her heart. She is scheduled for a catherization heart surgery, possibly a stent or ablation tomorrow. Long term care is still a big question mark.

I pray Sophie's surgery went well.
