The one closest to me in Niles, MI is pretty nice. I've never had an issue there.
True, but I’m not longer interested in major mechanics. I do servicing, but complex repairs are something that I’m happy to have others do.hornett22 YUP! you can't trust other people
but you can do the job youself so you know the
job is done and done right!

Is this a lack of help issue? The whole local RK store is chaos. They have so many pallets of crap sitting everywhere that you can’t even walk. Are their cashier situation makes Walmart look outstanding.
Is this a lack of help issue? Where my wife manages (Amazon Hub) offers $18.50 to start. She still can't get enough help. 40% The help she does get, quits after 3 weeks .
I'm not understanding the mentality of those 21-26 yr olds who can't seem to muster enough energy or diligence to start making at least some kind of living.
No, issue was they didn't sell well, and cabelas was actively in the process of selling their whole business to Bass Pro. I bought my little 25hp cabelas because they had a good service center and a good trained mechanic right near me. And Kubota didn't care if I looked at their tractors, Case had other decent dealership at the time. Cabelas was about 15% cheaper than the case and the kubota.... And TYM did make a good tractor along with woods fel and tiller. They all break at some time. Some more than others but I would never buy ANY tractor without a fully stocked local dealer with certified mechanics. Somehow, I don't believe a retail store (in this case Rural King has that).
Cabelas learned their lesson with rebadged TYM's a while ago. Store salespeople cannot repair anything and it took them a while to figure that out, so no more tractors at Cabelas. RK needs to get out of the tractor business and stick with selling feed and stuff.
maybe someday they will learn the error of their ways. Until then the customer pays for their ineptness.
Obviously your friend knows less than me. dick cabelas was dead and buried over 3 years before Bass pro deal was done. He dies in feb 2014 and the FAMILY sold off in 2017. The FAMILY wanted their money and not a business to run. 2016 was the fire sale year for the tractors. I bought mine in 2015 before the announcement and bought other implements at fire sale prices. tiller was about half retail price. But in 5 years machine has been pretty good. TYM totally denied any warranty work and didn't even want to service these. I'd expect same for the RK brand.Could have fooled me in as much as I know one of the managers at their Dundee store and that what I was told when I inquired. Have to ask, can you substantiate your claim or is it a claim without basis?
Cabelas was selling tractors long before Dick Cabela ever entered into negotiations with Bass Pro from what I understand. Don't matter much to me, I live 4 miles from the store and never set foot in it anyway. Overpriced, made in China stuff.
My wife is from Foster (Central Pike). We probably live not that far from each other. Is this a lack of help issue?
Where my wife manages (Amazon Hub) offers $18.50 to start. She still can't get enough help. 70% The help she does get, quits after 3 weeks or they do so badly at their job, they itch to get fired so they can collect unemployment.

If they show some kind of determination, they can work their way up the Amazon ladder and make as much as $35 an hour.
My wife went on a run (delivery route) last week on a "Beat the Manger" incentive. Out of 48 drivers, only six beat her. She's 65 yrs old. Median age of help is 32.
Well, it figures, 7 out of 10 college kids interviewed in my state think "socialism" is the way to go.
I guess they're just practicing early.
Since they got bought out by Bass Pro, they are just another Wally world store. Not worth the time.Just got a 100 buck Cabelas gift certificate for Christmas I'll sell for 90 cash. I won't set foot in their stores.
Just as much oriental merchandise too.Since they got bought out by Bass Pro, they are just another Wally world store. Not worth the time.
