48°F and rain this morning, going up to 57°. Looks like rain off and on through tomorrow as this mess coming out of the gulf continues to spin around near us.

Wife was at the hospital much of the day yesterday. Her father seems to be improving. Thanks for the well wishes.

I don't get around TBN as much as I used to either, Ron. There really is a lot of great content her outside of this thread. I just don't usually have the time anymore to peruse as widely as I once did. Lots of people here whose posts I have enjoyed, yet don't see much anymore.

Hope your wife’s father continues to improve.
I also tend to just follow participated treads, occasionally will check out unread threads to see what’s new.

LOL Supervisor is very happy, but like me, worn out. We went and got some Woodstock later and cheered ourselves up. When I met my wife she used Vegemite and I used Marmite. She has now fully converted to Marmite and doesn't like Vegemite any more.
Many years ago I suddenly lost my appetite. At that time I ate a lot of Marmite. Suddenly I couldn't eat it. nor anything else. I went to the Dr and he rushed me into hospital for a Appendix operation. I had no pain or any other symptons. After the operation I couldn't eat Marmite for several years. Have no idea why. Anyway all back to normal now and love a Marmite sandwich.

speaking of antibiotics I often need them when having root canals. Sort of like adding insult to injury.
At least plain old penicillin works great for me. I keep a bottle in the medicine cabinet of leftovers. If I take one the day
before a root canal and for two days after, no drama. Tooth infections are truly bad news, most of us have had one I'm guessing.

That's how antibiotic resistant strains of various germs get created, Drew. To avoid being a living, breathing, breading ground for such things, you need to always take the full course of any antibiotic medication you are prescribed. That's the only way to make sure that whatever ails you is truly dead, and not hiding inside you building up its immunity to that antibiotic. If you have concerns prior to a procedure, discuss them with your doctor/dentist and have them prescribe a course of appropriate antibiotics so you can do it right. Sorry to sound like a safety ****, but we're running out of effective antibiotics for way too many germs. There's even one that eats your flesh, with no known cure. Bottoms up!

Just got an early morning phone call saying my new shed kit is being delivered on Monday. 4.5 tonnes of it. I said I hope you have a crane on the truck because my tractor won't lift that. LOL Soooo looking forward to it.

Actually, the last 20 x 30 shed I bought many years ago off another company had 1 sheet of iron missing and the blighters would give me one. Thats why I didn't buy off them this time the miserable sods. I have a long memory.

Supposed to leave to go camping tomorrow. They only calling for 50 mph winds and 2” of rain. So got home a little early and got the camper hooked up, turned around, then backed close to power to plug in. Got some stuff in truck bed. Hopefully won’t have to do too much in the rain tomorrow.
Forgot to put water in the tank, park only has electric hookup.
If it’s too bad will leave Saturday morning.
