Lol, too bad they had to ruin it by calling a ratchet strap, a come-along. Sheesh.

Seems a lot of equipment haulers must keep a tonka in their cab to toss on for the empty runs, I see that a lot (and love it every time).

I heard one of those got ticketed for having only one strap on the Tonka.

There are all kinds of crazy stories about stuff like that. They aren't true. There's nothing wrong with that. No one got a ticket for that. I am so old I remember when the DOT handbook called bedding for the sleeper Whites. Drivers used to claim certain states would ticket you if they were a different color. Mostly New Jersey. That wasn't true either. But if you are logging sleeper time you better have bedding in that sleeper. A sleeping bag and pillow will do.

An intelligent, mature, responsible adult wouldn't take a trailer or oversize vehicle to a drive through to begin with.

Not uncommon around here for Sonics to have a trailor lane to use.

I would a lot rather see a fairly involved driver skill test vs driving around the block and it should be re applied every few years.

I have been saying this for YEARS. There are so many people that THINK they can drive that are a real hazard to the motoring public, many of them are elderly and a lot not so much.

Take a test in your Prius, get your license then tow that same car behind your 32 foot RV.
