X900 RTV BRAKES

I jacked up the front right tire on my Kubota x900 to spin it looking for a leak. Didn’t find the leak but that doesn’t matter. With the parking brake off, in neutral, 4 wheel drive off the tire does not free spin. I could turn it but it took a little force. Should the front tires free spin easily like a car will do? Sometime when I take off it seems like it takes some throttle to get it going. I wondered if the brakes are out of adjustment. This unit is less than a year old.

No, it will not spin freely. There is resistance from the propeller shaft to the center case and the limited-slip differential.
