Many answers to this question. Proper care and maintenance will have an impact on any piece of equipment. Daedong has made their share of diesel engines. I am interested to see how fast someone gets to 4K + hours.

Let's see how many original owners of any brand have 3500 hours on a machine. I'm sure there must be a few. At about 120 - 130 hours per year I may be able to answer that question around the year 2035. If I'm operating anything at that point, I'll be thrilled.

I asked my dealer ( Rodicks Farm Machinery) last year about how many hours i should get out of my ck30 , he said i should get between 6-7 thousand... Hes been selling kioti for 22 years and has customers in the 8000 hour mark.. Hopefully with the new synthetics it will go well beyond that as well.. I also have a new dealer close to me now whos been selling Kioti for 2 years, he told me he has commercial customers putting a thousand hours a year on their machines.. I would say with proper care you should get a long life out of the Daedong Diesels.. The highway departments here in Albany are using the Kioits now for the past 2 years as well, they must be racking up some serious hours with all the mowing they do as well..

2001 DK50c 420 hrs and still love it. any issues were taken care of under warranty 100%. Out of warranty the past few years no issues. Turn the key and go summer, winter weather always starts and does what I want. I am a fanatic about maintenance. Clean clear oil & grease fittings, clean filters go along way. Frenchie

state governments use the figure of 6,000 hrs per machine. Backhoe, excavator, roller, grader and so on.. It is a pretty accurate figure as at 6K hrs, larger repairs start to cost some serious monies. I have a Kubota and figure all costs on the 6K hours time line.

I recently purchased a used DK35 with 900+ hours. I've put about 40 on it in the past few months. Drive train is clean enough to eat off and it runs like a top, but the fuel/temp gauges don't work.

DK 50 with a tick below 500 hrs on it. Amsoil is in everything that will hold liquid except tires and windshield washer fluid. The only problems I've had are the ones that the idiot driving the thing has done.

My dk55c has 178 hrs on it and it is basically fine. My background is engineering, so when I look at a tractor to buy, I look at how easy is it to work on... and I think this kioti is a piece of cake. It is well designed with super access to below cab spaces and certainly the engine area. All in all, my 62 801 ford is cooking and it will continue as long as there are parts, which will be the same for my dk55, and my two kubotas ....

So, my brothers have john deeres on their farm... why? Parts availability and speed of delivery. If kioti can handle this, then they'll be around as long as there are farms...

WOw I just hit the one year mark and have 230 hours on my DK 35!
SO that must make me not an avereage user?lol
My plan is to keep the tractor about 10 years so that would be 2,300 hours.
I hope they last that long!!!

I saw one listed for sale in TX today (a DK45 w/FEL as I recall) on national for sale listing website that had well over 3,600 hours. Looked kind of "Texas pale" like a fairly new Kubota...
