RS, you really have done a wonderful job on your lawn, looking really fine.

It has a long, long ways to go ... but it's getting there, slowly but surely.

Gosh you sure have dumped enough stuff on that lawn, it should be saying a friendly hi each day.

It does ... ;)

Enjoy your watering.

RS, I agree you have the lawn for lawn bowling or croquet...very pretty.

LOL ... Billy, if weeds were worth anything, I'd be in the money.

It is nice that they green up too (along with the grass) ... and look good from a distance ... ;)

Enjoy the newly roasted coffee ... (y)

Southern states there?

Yeah, thanks ... (y)

It seems there is SS-affiliated outfit out in the Seville/Wadsworth area.

Didn't see anything on their website about lime though, will have to give them a call.

Definitely will be checking out their fertilizer and grass seed pricing - looks like they have a good selection.

Good Morning!!!! 72F @ 8:30AM. Partly cloudy skies. High 93F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.
Wind is still just a light breeze around 5 MPH, and has been switching between north and southwest as if it can't make up its mind. AQI is way over 300, so lots of smoke coming down from the north. Not much chance it's going anywhere but worse. Dixie has passed 635,000 acres as of this morning, and that number will likely make a big jump if the forecast winds materialize. Power went off at about 6:30 last night, and will probably stay that way until sometime tomorrow. Laying low on electricity use as the smoke has cut solar panel production to about 1/4 of normal.

That M5 has what, maybe a year left on the warranty, Drew? BMW is famous for its "Lubed for Life" maintenance schedules, which will pose no problems during the warranty period but leave owners with big bills when things like automatic transmissions sludge up and start popping out of gear. The 5 series I had spent a lot of time at the dealership having things replaced under the Certified Pre Owned warranty, and it was an expensive car to own that I've regretted almost since the day I drove it home. What kind of delivery date are the dealers quoting on new tractors? Would it even get to you in time for spring planting? You may not be able to find anything used locally, but trucking a tractor doesn't cost very much compared to the purchase price, and that might open up a whole lot of possibilities for you.

That was a lot of lumber going up in smoke at today's prices, Paul. But I bet you had fun with the forks. :ROFLMAO: I had a 4in1 bucket on the old tractor, and always wished I had a grapple. Now I have a grapple and no 4in1, and miss it sometimes, but not as much as I missed the grapple before.

Needed a change of pace yesterday so tackled the drive shaft boot on the red bike. Decided to take it apart again to see if I could figure out what was wrong. The rubber is supposed to have words on it so you can properly orient it on installation, but I found none the first time around. After I had it apart and cleaned up, I got out some magnifiers and in strong light found what was left of the marks. This is a new part, but the mould it came from was either filthy when it was cast or the letters had worn off, because the letters were so faint they were barely visible. Properly oriented, the boot slipped into position after only a couple of tries and the rest of the reassembly went off with no further issues. I would love to go for a test ride today, but not in this foul air.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

69°F and 0 rain

Back to painting this morning. Moving a bit gingerly with my back. This aging thing is over rated.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Good afternoon. I am late checking in, been busy catching up with a few outside jobs before the weather turns wet tomorrow.

Ken, very sorry to hear the loss of your long-time friend.

Plant diet terminology is confusing. For those with friends and relatives on a plant diet.

Now they have come out with Plant-strong and Plant-perfect. I can probably say I'm plant strong and strive to be plant perfect,
But I eat nuts, coconut and avocados which will keep me out of the Plant-perfect diet.

Plant-perfect diet:

Don, thanks in no small measure to you, I can tick the last 9 of the items on those guidelines and my meat consumption is now so small our local butcher decided to retire.
Would hate to ever give up eating fish though - is that significant when it comes to determining the risks of heart disease?

Eric I guess the tire is trash now? that was expensive
Taken it to a place that specialises in industrial and agricultural tire repairs. They said cut would normally have been classed as too severe and repair wouldn't have been allowed on a heavier tractor. Tire is now getting the full vulcanisation treatment in a large industrial oven, should get it back later this week.

SS here has lime buggy’s, you pull it home full with a truck and spread with tractor.

Thought you would have gotten soaked by Fred, it totally went around west of us, and now over central PA
My sister in Harrison county got a good bit.

I guess we have almost enough sugar to last until the hummingbirds migrate.
Do you add food coloring to water...red?
We didn't want to stop feeding hummingbirds but small bears must of thought it was Kool Aid,and glass feeders took real hard.

Masks required at work again, even if vaccinated. @%*€%!

Was going to get lunch at chipotle, they had mask sign, so I left and did Chick-fil-A drive thru.
