Yeah...those SST satellites they had 142 years ago weren't quite as accurate as the ones being used now to measure sea water temps etc...!

I always wonder when the quote statistics and say the earth is so many degrees warmer than it was 500 years ago. How do they know that? They are estimating what it was then. There is another word for estimating, it’s called guessing.

I still remember a friend of mine giving a presentation in science class on how the earth was cooling off, this would have been the early 1970’s. When I looked that up a couple of years ago they said they didn’t know what they were talking about then, the scientist were wrong then.

Your friend was right, the earth was cooling in the 70’s. We were all going to be dead in 10 years, buried under avalanches of snow and ice…

Now 50 years later it’s warming.

This proves there are ever changing warming & cooling cycles.

Its just the “end of the world” alarmists and freak extremists that wont stop with the fear mongering and forcing everyone into insanity that needs to chill out.

I frequently tell my shockingly progressive children that co2 saved us from a sure death buried up to our winkies in snow and ice. Now we ungrateful people demonize it, and try to deny its' right to exist

Maybe so, but you will notice there is not as much quicksand now as there was in all the TV shows from the 60s and 70s. Definite proof of a warming trend.
