In another month or two it will be time to renew (or replace) the insurance on both the Homeowner's policy AND the Auto policy. We currently have annual, instead of 6 month, AAA insurance policies. When we had the roof replaced recently due to hail damage, the roofing guy said there is sure better insurance.

Anyone have anything good, or bad, to say about any particular insurance company? One that I'm curious about is Liberty Mutual Insurance.

I’ve been with State Farm for 37 years and never been disappointed with rates or loss settlements.

We got a surprise today, .14” of rain and 68 degrees. It is supposed to hit 71 later, original forecast was 78, which itself would be ten degrees below normal. Had some errands this morning. Contacted the pole building guy to change some specs. May finally have a crew to install the awning.
I finally figured out why the mower deck on the Massey wouldn’t engage but I’m ashamed to tell it. Apparently the day it stopped, when I disengaged it I accidentally pushed the mid PTO lever down as they are fairly close together, and just didn’t notice I’d done that. I started looking at yesterday and realized it was in the off position. Pulled it up to the 2000 rpm mark and it works just fine.
I’m pretty sure that qualifies me as an expert Massey Ferguson tech.

Easy to do. On the bx23 it has positions for back pto only/ both / mid only. I can see me making that mistake.

Last time at dad’s he complained his rather new air compressor wouldnt run. He said he always shuts it off and unplugs it, and someone (friend who mows) had left it plugged in. (You can see where this is going).
So I take a look, the tank is full. Yep, doesn’t run past cutoff pressure.
