Serial Number

Like the story goes, I just purchased a Satoh 650G. The serial number is 001292 and I can't seem to locate any information on year of manufacture by serial number. Can anyone direct me or perhaps provide some insight? Thanks in advance.

This machine came with either a PB100 engine or the TA/TB engine. You may need to poke around looking for the engine plate to verify what engine is under the hood. That's way better than a serial number as people do SWAP engines on older tractors to keep them going over the years. Ideally, the TA/TB is the better of the 2.
