Holy Cow. It took 3 years just to file charges in this case.

I’m guessing they are blaming it on COVID.

Obviously the state DID pick up and go with the charges after the Federal case was dropped.

It was stated that this was a once in a generation storm. I call BS on that. We have had plenty of storms that violent even the the time I have lived down here (about 20 years). And besides that the KY3 weatherman was yapping about this storm and how violent it may be for hours before they sank the duck boat. I know that I was inside and watching the TV channel to see what might blow up here weatherwise , and remember the violent gust front that hit our house quite well. I could not imagine that anyone was out on the lake in a duck boat of all things. Sad for all concerned.

For what it's worth, we were strikingly poor when I was young, one of my two childhood vacations was to Branson, and I enjoyed the ducks. Would take the grand kids if I thought they would enjoy it half as much as fortnight............
